Dwarf Halberdiers - Part 7

Finished off another two figures for my dwarf halberdiers. I think I'm going to use a lot of sallet helmets with this unit. It helps to tie them together.

I used a couple bits from the "pouches and dagger sprue" (namely, a pouch and the dagger) on this one. These little details help to further customise the figures (aside from the head and arm options) and make each one look unique.

Not my best work, but I managed to paint another one of the third infantry set (front rankers), this time with halberd. Lack of good lighting sort of nullified the highlights on the red and yellow.

2 more of my multipart "WK" Dwarf Halberdiers. Nothing too fancy, just tabletop standard.

I wasn't very fond of this head initially, but when I put it on this body and started applying paint, it all sort of came together. Also pleased with the red on this figure.

Smallest head on the smallest body. The belly is better painted in real life, honest...

Dwarf halberdiers - Part 4

Another dwarf halberdier. This one is a simple conversion of a Marauder dwarf cannon crewfigure. Just add a halberdhead (this one came from an old Heroquest plastic weapon).

I couldn't resist the temptation to slap some paint on a couple mastercastings of the dwarfs I commissioned. Bit miffed that the camera ignored the extra care I put in the highlighting and shading, but what are you going to do... Quite happy with the sallet helmet though as my metals usually suck.
